Dying Well - Leaving Life with Well-Being

When counselling church members, death is often a topic of discussion, especially among baby boomers. Barry has met with many people who don’t know what to do when a parent dies nor do they know how to get themselves ready – spiritually, financially, emotionally, and physically. Dying Well addresses two vital questions:
1) How can I prepare for the inevitable?
2) What do I do immediately after someone I love dies?
Dying Well was written in partnership with Barry’s good friend Blossom Broussard (who died of cancer in the middle of their project) and with his son-in-law, Jeremy Low (who is a financial advisor in the Coquitlam, BC area). Both Blossom and Barry had always felt a need to write a book about Dying. The timing was right. Blossom prepared for her own funeral, Barry conducted research with morticians, and Jeremy wrote a chapter on money management with guidelines to help make sound investment decisions during this process.
This is a wonderful book to give a friend or loved one, whom we are not sure, is ready to die. It applies to everyone both old and young. Dying Well is also a sequel to Good Mourning, which was written to help those who are going through any type of grief or loss.
